You can use your MagicBand, Disney PhotoPass card, theme park ticket or annual pass. When you wear your MagicBand to the park, your attraction photos will even be automatically linked to your account. runDisney photos can also be linked to your account using your bib number.

At the time of activation, a ticket will be associated with one Guest. Each ticket holder will have their photo taken at the park entrance. That photo will be used to verify each Guest when they use their ticket for re-entry on the same day as well as on subsequent days for a multi-day ticket.

Sharing Memory Maker with other people In order to share with other people, you can either: Make sure you're all listed in the same My Disney Experience account OR. Make sure you're linked as friends within My Disney Experience and have checked the option to allow sharing of photos for all people.

In the vast majority of cases, a family/group visiting Disney World will be “Friends and Family” and will be fewer than 25 people. Assuming that this is you, only one person in your group needs to buy the Memory Maker to have everyone's pictures included in the price.

One added benefit to Memory Maker is, not only can you download your own Disney PhotoPass photos, but also those of up to 25 members of your Family & Friends who share media with you on the My Disney Experience website or app!

On your Family & Friends list, locate the Guest you want to share your photos with and select “Edit” to access the photo sharing control. If someone is not on your Family & Friends list and you do not wish to add them, you can also invite people to view your photos through email.

While the basic Disney PhotoPass lets you view and then purchase individual pictures, Disney's Memory Maker works by allowing you to collect an unlimited number of PhotoPass pictures taken throughout the park and download all those photos directly to your phone or computer.

Now, to activate your Memory Maker, simply open any of your Disney PhotoPass photos and start the download process. Downloading a picture is actually what officially activates the product. You will then have 30 days from the time of that first download to keep adding photos before your Memory Maker will expire.
