My advice after experiencing both attractions would be to skip Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. While it is a great attraction, there are many jolts and lots of ups and downs as you make your way through space.
People Also Ask
Is Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run Scary? That all depends on what kind of rides you like, but in general, I would not say that Smugglers Run, no. It's a flight simulator so expect lots of bumpy movements and sharp turns throughout, but this is also somewhat affected by whoever the pilot is.
There is no noted size or age requirement to experience the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run; however, the rider must be a minimum of 38in (97cm) or taller to ride. If you are able to experience it, do not forget about the “On-the-Job Training” using the Play Disney Parks App.

The side to side motions are also fairly smooth and not jerky. This one might be okay for you. Star Wars rides - Star Tours, Rise of the Resistance and Smugglers run all have jerky movements both side to side and vertically.
Summary. Flight of Passage has a large scale and stunning visuals. Smuggler's Run is less reliant on the visuals but great in the way it can change each time.
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's RunBest Seat: As we previously mentioned, this one is a no-brainer. The best seat is one of the two pilot seats in the front. One pilot seat steers the ship left to right, while the other steers it up and down. And it's really the ONLY job you want to have on the Falcon, trust us!
It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it's such a sleek next-generation wheel that you might not recognize its wheel-ness. Overall, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is a solid initial entry for Galaxy's Edge. Aside from hardcore Star Wars fans, this probably won't be the new favorite attraction of many guests.
It's not scary at all -- the biggest thing is motion sickness with the movements of the simulator. That being said, if you were OK with the old Star Tours, you'll be fine with the new one. If you do get scared from the visual effects, you can always close your eyes for the remainder of the ride.
Rise of the Resistance can be scary at times for kids, even ones who love Star Wars. The interactions with Kylo Ren, Stormtroopers, and the First Order can be a bit intimidating. The ride itself can also be too much for some children, since some areas of the ride are dark and there is even a drop.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is for guests 40? or taller. This height requirement means that most elementary school aged children and even some preschoolers will make the cut and be able to ride Rise of the Resistance.
