Rise of the Resistance Motion Sickness The majority of the ride is in the trackless ride vehicle. It does move somewhat quickly, and it does take several turns, but the ride itself is very smooth. The risk of getting motion sickness on this ride is low.

It's not scary at all -- the biggest thing is motion sickness with the movements of the simulator. That being said, if you were OK with the old Star Tours, you'll be fine with the new one. If you do get scared from the visual effects, you can always close your eyes for the remainder of the ride.
