Headquartered in Atlanta, Delta operates significant hubs and key markets in Amsterdam, Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, London-Heathrow, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York-JFK and LaGuardia, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Seoul-Incheon and Tokyo.
Delta said the move to Terminal 5, where it invested $50 million, puts travelers in closer proximity to the carrier's international airline partners, eliminating the need for international travelers to leave security and travel to a new terminal.
ORD: Before becoming one of the world's busiest airports, Chicago's O'Hare International Airport was the site of an aircraft factory known as Orchard Place; and thus, the “ORD” designation for Orchard. Later, it became a commercial airfield, known as Orchard Field.
Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is Delta's smallest hub and mostly offers international connections to Europe and the Carribean with flights to Amsterdam, Bermuda, London–Heathrow, Montego Bay, Paris–Charles de Gaulle, Punta Cana, and St. Thomas, with seasonal flights to Cancún, Dublin, and the Providenciales.
