Is Pacific Ocean less salty? Did you know that the Pacific Ocean is generally less salty than the Atlantic? On average there are about 7 teaspoons of salt per litre of ocean water. But thanks to evaporation, the ocean water is not as salty everywhere.

Once such phenomena was captured by 3rd Officer Rahul Gupta when he was sailing from Arabian Sea to Persian Gulf. It was an amazing sight of seawater with two different colors.
