Is pram count in luggage?

Children's strollers and child safety seats are not counted as part of the standard baggage and therefore can be easily checked for free. For your convenience, these items may be checked at the curbside, the ticket counter or at the gate. Child safety seats may be brought on board the plane in certain circumstances.

For most major airlines, a pram (stroller) is NOT counted as part of your standard checked luggage allowance and can be checked for free. Airlines generally allow parents traveling with infants or toddlers to check one fully collapsible stroller and one car seat free of charge, in addition to their regular baggage. You usually have two choices: "Check-in" the pram at the main counter when you arrive at the airport, or "Gate-check" it, which allows you to use the stroller through the terminal until the very moment you board the aircraft. If you gate-check it, the staff will take it at the plane door and usually have it waiting for you at the door when you land. However, if the stroller is exceptionally large or heavy (like a double jogging stroller), some budget carriers may require it to be checked as oversized cargo.
