This specific version gives the cardholder and up to two guests unlimited free entry to over 1,400 lounges worldwide. Other cards, like the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® or the Hilton Honors Aspire, also offer a similar version of the benefit. However, it is important to note that "no-annual-fee" Amex cards or mid-tier cards like the Amex Gold do not include this perk. Additionally, as of 2024, Amex-issued Priority Pass memberships no longer include "non-lounge" credits (such as the $28 restaurant vouchers common at many airports), which is a key difference from Priority Pass memberships issued by Chase or Capital One.
