Is Puerto del Carmen very hilly?

Puerto del Carmen As the resort is basically built across the sea front, there can be a bit of a hill climb to some of them so may not be suitable to less abled people. The old town is also particularly hilly whilst the other end of the strip, towards Matagorda tends to be flatter.
