Is Rock n Roller Coaster going to be queen?

Disney has not confirmed that they are changing the ride at all, let alone to include music from Queen. As for Disney, the only public-facing statement they have made is the following: Beginning February 21, 2023, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will be temporarily closed for refurbishment.

Despite persistent internet rumors and fan theories over the years, the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios is not being rethemed to the band Queen. Instead, Disney officially announced in late 2025 that the attraction is undergoing a major retheme to The Muppets. The new version, scheduled to open in Summer 2026, will feature Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem as the central musical act. The storyline involves "G-Force Records" being taken over by the Muppets, with characters like Scooter appearing as advanced animatronics in the pre-show area. While many fans hoped for a Queen or Led Zeppelin retheme to replace Aerosmith, the Muppets were chosen to create a more family-friendly experience that integrates with the nearby Muppet-Vision 3D area, marking the end of the 25-year Aerosmith era for the high-speed coaster.

A must-do ride at Hollywood Studios and a fun rollercoaster for almost everyone. It is fast, indoors, and mostly in the dark, so those with fear of heights or who easily get dizzy, probably will enjoy this ride without issue. My only real complaint is that it could last longer. This is such a thrilling coaster!

Slinky Dog Dash is in Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Since it's an outdoor attraction, it shuts down in heavy rain and if there's severe weather or lightning in the area. Much of the queue is exposed to the elements, and even the portion of the queue that's covered isn't enclosed. And it can get HOT.

TRON does move up and down a fair bit, but there's very little of that “stomach-drop” feeling with your feet leaving the floor. That's for two reasons. The first is that on a Lightcycle your head points down, not your feet. But the bigger reason is that almost all of TRON's rise-and-drop motion includes a turn.
