Is Santorini or Mykonos more crowded?

There are slightly fewer crowds in Mykonos vs. Santorini always being packed. We traveled to Greece in mid-May, which was definitely the best time to visit Mykonos and Santorini. This allowed us to explore the islands with fewer crowds but still have nice weather.

It is possible of course. Mykonos is beautiful island and you will definitely fall in love to that island. If you are there to relax and enjoy, visit in August/ September, it is less crowded, the weather is still very nice and the sea is warm and calm.

Mykonos is definitely a party island and you can tell as soon as you arrive. The average age on the island of visitors must be in the 20s, and you can see them all on rented mopeds and ATVs buzzing around the island. The busiest part of the island is Mykonos town.
