Serenade of the Seas is not currently undergoing a major "Royal Amplified" transformation, but it does receive regular maintenance and minor updates during its scheduled dry docks. Its most recent significant "refresh" occurred in early 2022, where it received standard technical maintenance, hull painting, and cosmetic updates to staterooms and public areas. While Royal Caribbean is focusing its massive 2026 refurbishment budget on larger ships like Ovation, Harmony, and Liberty of the Seas, older Radiance-class ships like Serenade typically follow a five-year dry dock cycle.
