Is Skopelos a busy island?

Skopelos is the Mama Mia island in the western Aegean Sea, part of a group of Greek islands called the Sporades. We very much expected Skopelos to be a little too crowded due to its recent Hollywood appearance, but actually, it's still very peaceful and protected.

When to go. Skopelos is one of the few Mediterranean destinations that doesn't get too overcrowded in July and August, but if you want the island at its most quiet (but still balmy), visit in June or September.
