Is Slinky ride fat friendly?

They're not double sided. The bar only comes up on one side and easily comes down. I've actually. ridden this ride with someone bigger than me beside me, so it is definitely fat friendly.

Slinky Dog Dash at Disney's Hollywood Studios is widely considered one of the most "plus-size friendly" roller coasters in Central Florida due to its unique restraint system. Unlike many thrill rides that use restrictive over-the-shoulder harnesses, Slinky Dog uses an individual lap bar for each rider. This design allows the bar to rest comfortably across the lap regardless of a person's height or torso size. The seats are relatively wide and do not have high "dividers" between passengers, which accommodates broader hips and thighs quite well. There is no maximum weight limit for the ride; the only requirement is that the lap bar must be able to click into a locked position. Most guests who wear a size 3XL or 4XL report feeling secure and comfortable on this attraction. If you are concerned about the fit, there are no "test seats" outside the entrance because the lap bar is so versatile, but you can always ask a Cast Member at the loading platform for a quick assessment if you have specific mobility or sizing concerns before boarding the "slinky" coils.
