Is Soarin a gentle ride?

Disney warns that those who have a fear of heights or are prone to motion sickness should not ride. The motion of the ride vehicles themselves is very gentle, but the screen effects can still cause nausea for some riders. See A Ride Wimp's Review of Soarin' for more details.

It is an even more realistic simulator than Soarin' or Europe in the Air but moves along a track and features many other special effects than just simulator. Also remember to go through the main line at least once no matter how long, as the line is pretty much half the ride with all of its amazing theming!

Oh, how I look forward to the day that my little one is tall enough for Soarin'. Unless your child meets the 40 inches tall height requirement, you'll have to wait to experience this attractions with him/her, too. It is not allowed (nor would I recommend) to sit a child on your lap for this attraction.

Hands down, we thought Avatar Flight of Passage was the best ride at Animal Kingdom — heck, it is definitely the best ride at Walt Disney World! It is no surprise this made it to the top of the list for our best rides at Disney for teens too! (Although we haven't had a chance to visit Galaxy's Edge yet.)
