Is Thailand visa on arrival for US citizens?

US citizens and holders of a US passport don't have to apply for visa to enter Thailand. All you need to enter Thailand is your passport (that is valid for at least 6 more months) and a return flight ticket (this proves that you'll leave the country once your trip is finished). This is known as the visa-free regime.
