Is the Green Grotto worth it?

There are a couple connected caves, so you can swim inside and then swim from one to another through small passageways. I HIGHLY recommend swimming in this grotto. We skipped the pricey blue grotto, and I have no regrets! Swim through the the Green Grotto to the other side!

Trillium Gap Trail meanders through an old-growth hemlock forest and actually runs behind the 25 foot high waterfall. The cool, moist environment near the falls is ideal for salamanders and summer hikers. The hike is 3 miles roundtrip and considered moderate in difficulty.
