Is the Hulk coaster rough?

Hagrids is super smooth, Hulk is intense but I didn't find it particularly jerky (YDS was obsessed so we rode it many many times). Hagrid, Veloci, Hippogryph, Nuthouse, Mummy, and Gringotts are all very smooth. Hulk's outer seats can be a little rough, depends on the wear of the wheels I've found.

The Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universal Islands of Adventure is often described as "powerful" and "intense" rather than simply "rough," especially following its high-value complete track replacement in 2016. In 2026, the ride remains a premier example of a B&M sit-down coaster, offering a high-quality, smooth experience during its seven inversions and high-speed launch. However, because it is an "old-school" high-G-force ride, some passengers may experience slight "headbanging" in the over-the-shoulder restraints, particularly during the cobra roll. For a high-value, comfortable ride, the "pro-move" is to keep your head pressed firmly back against the headrest during the launch and the loops. Overall, most 2026 guest reviews highlight the ride's smoothness and thrilling soundtrack, making it a high-quality "must-do" for thrill-seekers who enjoy a "Force 4" experience without the rattling discomfort found on older wooden coasters.
