Is the queue on Ticketmaster random?

The Ticketmaster queue is randomized for those who join the waiting room. The waiting room opens up about 30 minutes before the official (pre)sale starts. It's recommended you join the waiting room early (Ticketmaster says 10 minutes before the sale begins but I recommend as soon as possible).
