The wilderness lodge has always been one of my favorite places to visit at Disney World, as it's beautifully maintained and it reminiscent of the lodges you might find out west.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge does not have access to the monorail system but does provide direct transportation to the Magic Kingdom via boat; the other theme parks are reached by bus. This is the least expensive hotel in the Magic Kingdom resort area, making it very popular with families.
While all of those trees are perfect for the resort's theming, they do make it a bit hard to have a clear sightline to Magic Kingdom Park. You won't really be able to see fireworks from the common areas of Disney's Wilderness Lodge, however, some Guest rooms do have partial views of the fireworks.

Disney says that buses run about every 20 minutes to each destination, but our experience has been that they often come at shorter intervals. One of our favorite ways to get around Disney World is by boat, and Wilderness Lodge is one of the best places to do it.

ROOMS AT DISNEY'S WILDERNESS LODGEDuring our stay, we stay in Room 6046 – a Fireworks View Room. Our view off the balcony saw a small lake in front of the Cabins and off over the tree line a beautiful, unobstructed view of Cinderella's Castle, Space Mountain, Astro Orbiter and the Contemporary Resort.
SMOKING/VAPING: The entire resort is non-smoking and non-vaping. This includes all guest units, waterparks and interior. Smoking/Vaping is only allowed in designated areas. GRILLING: Charcoal and gas grills, as well as deep fryers, are strictly prohibited.
