Is the zipline included on Royal Caribbean?

THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE Brace yourself for a spine-tingling rush as you race above the Boardwalk®, suspended on the Zip Line over nine decks up. Included in your fare, no reservation required. Strap in and go for a ride over nine decks above the Boardwalk® on the Zip Line. Don't look down.

On most Royal Caribbean Oasis-class ships (like Wonder or Symphony of the Seas), the standard zipline that spans the open-air Boardwalk is included in your cruise fare at no extra charge. You can ride it as many times as you like, provided you meet the height and weight requirements. However, in 2026, there is an important distinction for the newer Icon-class ships like Icon of the Seas and Utopia of the Seas. These ships feature the Crown’s Edge, a high-thrill experience that is part skywalk, part "swing" zipline that dangles 154 feet above the ocean. Unlike the traditional Boardwalk zipline, the Crown’s Edge usually requires an additional fee (typically around $49–$89 per person). It is a peer-to-peer essential to check your specific ship's "Cruise Planner" app before boarding; if you are on an Oasis-class ship, enjoy the free thrill, but if you are on an Icon-class vessel, be prepared for a premium "upcharge" for the more extreme version.
