Is there a bathroom on Ship Island?

Ship Island is a barrier island located about 12 miles off the coast of Mississippi. It is only accessible by boat and features a historic fort, swimming area, beautiful beaches, two pavilion areas, restrooms, and a concession store.

Visitors should be prepared for a moderate amount of walking. A one-third mile boardwalk is provided to reach the south side of the island where the snack bar and beach umbrella rental areas are located. There are no trees on the island.
