Is there a cafe on top of Snowdon?

The summit cafe sells refreshments and snacks and the gift shop has a range of souvenirs. You can even send a postcard from the summit post box. The visitor centre is operated by Snowdon Mountain Railway and is usually open from late Spring until the last weekend in October but is closed on bad weather days.

The railway has not run all the way to the summit for the last three years initially due to the pandemic and, more recently, as a result of essential upper mountain track work.

There are no facilities on-board our trains. We have toilets at Llanberis station and up at the summit building.
