Is there a Frozen theme park?

World of Frozen is an upcoming themed area based on the Frozen franchise. This land is currently being developed by Walt Disney Imagineering at Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea under the name of Frozen Kingdom, and Walt Disney Studios Park under the name of Kingdom of Arendelle.

There is no "standalone" Frozen theme park, but there are now entire "Frozen" themed lands inside existing Disney parks. In 2026, the most significant is World of Frozen, which is officially opening on March 29, 2026, at Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios Park) in Disneyland Paris. This massive expansion features the village of Arendelle, the North Mountain, Elsa's Ice Palace, and a version of the "Frozen Ever After" boat ride. This follows the 2023 opening of a similar World of Frozen in Hong Kong Disneyland and the Frozen Kingdom area at Tokyo DisneySea. While Walt Disney World in Florida has the "Frozen Ever After" ride and an Anna/Elsa meet-and-greet in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot, it does not have a dedicated "land" on the same scale as the Paris or Hong Kong versions. For 2026 travelers, the new Paris expansion is the "crown jewel" of the year, offering a fully immersive night show on a new 3-hectare lake called Adventure Bay.

Royal Sommerhus is a character-greeting venue for Anna and Elsa. While Frozen was set in a fictional kingdom instead of Norway, we grudgingly concede that the meet and greet features traditional Norwegian architecture and crafts. Having visited Norway, we think Disney did a decent job when it comes to authenticity.
