York's six Park & Ride services allow you to travel to York by car, park for free and complete your journey into the city centre by bus. Park & Ride buses are frequent, low-floor and wheelchair-accessible. Fares are low, with up to three children aged 16 or under travelling free when accompanied by a paying adult.

All parking meters will be enforced Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There is a 2 hour limit for parking meters. Parking meters located in the “Retail Zone” shall also be enforced Saturday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. There is a 2 hour limit for parking meters.
