Is there a parking fee at the Creation Museum?

How much is parking at the Creation Museum? $10 parking in their large parking lot easily accessed off the road. There is a portion set aside for oversized vehicles and RVs. There is about a ten minute walk into the creation museum through the garden once you buy tickets at the entrance next to the parking lot.

You could do the Ark in about 4-5 hours without doing their petting zoo and other outdoor things. The Creation Museum definitely takes a day--again, lots to do outside and crowds can slow things down. I would recommend two days.

The Ark Encounter like many attractions is more busy during the weekends. If possible visit during the weekdays. But if you cannot weekends are fine. We visited on Memorial Day weekend 2023 and although it was busy in some areas the crowds were able to spread out to the many attractions.

You are able to leave the Ark Encounter and reenter on the same day. Take the shuttle bus back to the parking lot and your specially colored wristband will allow you to regain entry. The Ark is wheelchair- and stroller-friendly.

Making the Drive to the Ark The Ark Encounter is roughly 40 minutes from the Creation Museum in Williamstown, Kentucky. While I would typically eat at the museum (museums have excellent food these days), I needed more content about the area, so we went to a local eatery.
