Is there a pick up point at Gatwick Station?

We usually have drop-off and pick-up points with dropped kerbs near the station entrance. There are also taxi ranks at a lot of our stations. If you find it hard to get around, please visit our station information page to check whether your station has step-free access.

Gatwick Airport railway station is directly integrated into the South Terminal, so there is no specific "station-only" pickup point for cars. Instead, if you are being picked up after arriving by train, you must use the official South Terminal Passenger Pick Up area. This is located on the lower level of the terminal, but be aware that Gatwick charges a mandatory £6 drop-off/pick-up fee for any vehicle entering the terminal forecourts for up to 10 minutes. If you want to avoid this fee or need more time, the best option is to have your driver wait in the Short Stay Car Park, which is connected to the station and terminal via a short covered walkway. For those looking for a free alternative, the Long Stay Car Park offers up to 2 hours of free parking, and you can take a free shuttle bus from the car park directly to the South Terminal/Station entrance, making it a budget-friendly meeting spot.

We recommend that all passengers use the Short Stay car parks for picking up as this tends to take longer than dropping off. Please note that normal charges apply in the car parks.
