Icon of the Seas can carry approximately 8,000 people and weighs in at 250,800 tonnes – five times the weight of the Titanic, for reference. It houses a waterpark with a total of six slides, including “the tallest waterslide to sail” and the first open freefall waterslide on a cruise ship.
Make sure to bring at least two bathing suits, as it can take a while for them to dry out! While you are allowed to wander around in your bathing suit, clothes and shoes are required when entering the restaurants and casinos, so bring along at least a few bathing suit cover-ups, sundresses, or shorts and tee shirts.

One very positive aspect about the MSC buffet is that they close later than many other mainstream cruise lines. Lunch runs from noon to 5:00 PM, while the dinner buffet starts at 6 PM and doesn't close until 9:30 PM. Late night snack runs from 9:30 PM till midnight or later.
