Dolly's tram from the parking lot is free. So are all the rides, concerts, shows and exhibits, including her tour bus. Parking is $12. All food and merchandise is separate as well, and you pay dearly for it.
The amusement park can be done in one day, but you will have to skip a lot. In the summer lines for rides can consume some time, so you might want to consider two days at the park. Also, you cannot fit in all the shows and still do all the rides in just one day.

Not only is Dollywood less crowded in the spring, but the weather is great, too. March through May have mild temperatures in the 60s and 70s and reduced humidity. This creates a pleasant environment for many entertaining outdoor activities for the whole family.
there are large rides in each area, but again the layout makes it impossible to re-do several of your favorites with out having to walk forever. in a 10 hour span we walked almost 22,000 steps (9 miles). a tiring day to say the least.
