Is there anything inside the castle at Disneyland?

Every Disney Park built since 1955 has a castle at the center, but only the original has a full-on storybook attraction inside those stone walls. A lot of people don't seem to notice it, so it feels kinda secret. The high style, midcentury gothic Sleeping Beauty Walkthrough is one of my favorite places in the park.

The sitting room inside the Cinderella Castle Suite is anchored by a custom sofa bed – a one-of-a-kind creation with French carved details. In the entertainment center, a mirror magically transforms into a television. Custom-designed headboards feature the royal crest of Cinderella.

The castle has an archway that you can walk through from one side to another, and I would highly recommend doing so. You'll be able to see some gorgeous mosaics that show special scenes from Cinderella's story. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to tour the castle in its entirety.

For the regular guest, Cinderella's Royal Table is your best bet for access inside Cinderella Castle. This fine-dining restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it includes visits from a rotating variety of Disney princesses.

It is possible that people have attempted to hide in Disneyland overnight, but it is not recommended or legal to do so. In the summer of 1973, an 18-year-old man and his 10-year-old brother hid out in Disneyland park past closing time by stowing away on Tom Sawyer Island.

How much does the Cinderella Suite cost? Unfortunately, this suite cannot be booked. Disney has allegedly declined bribes of up to $40,000 for just one night in the exclusive suite, so no amount of money will allow you to make Cinderella Castle Suite reservations.
