Is there baby swap at Disney?

You've arrived in the theme parks and you get to an attraction that your child cannot ride, because they do not meet the height requirement. Thanks to Disney's Rider Switch Service, also referred to as Baby Swap, all other members in your party can still experience the attraction.

To Use Rider Switch: Once at the attraction, approach the greeting Cast Member with your entire party. While I recommend bringing your own stroller, the rentals are still a great option. If you have an infant or a young child who cannot sit upright, the Disney rentals are likely not the right fit for you.

Genie Plus is definitely worth it for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, and if you don't like early starts, you might consider it for Epcot and Animal Kingdom. If you are park hopping, Genie+ is even better value as it maximises the number of rides you have access to.

Totally up to you to decide what you want to do. Disney doesn't consistently ask for proof of age for young kids, but they certainly can if they want to. I've heard reports of them innocently asking the child how old they are - which more often than not means you're busted! Your call if you want to take the chance.

If you're worried about your kids remembering the trip, you may want to wait until they're at least 5 or 6 years old to visit. Of course, a 5-year-old will be able to remember a Disney trip when they're older. Still, children under 5 probably won't remember much.
