Is underwater metro started in Kolkata?

KOLKATA: Trains will run every 12 minutes when East-West Metro starts its under-river run this December, KMRC MD V K Srivastava said on Wednesday. KMRC, the implementing agency of the East-West Metro corridor, is chasing a December 2023 deadline for the 4.8km Esplanade-Howrah Maidan run.
