Much like we've experienced in Disney World's Magic Kingdom, Monday is actually a SUPER BUSY day to visit Universal. With many guest settled in from weekend travel and and READY to dive into full-on VACATION MODE, the result is surprisingly crowded parks on Mondays!

As a general rule of thumb, Tuesday and Wednesday tend to be the best days to visit any of the three Universal Orlando parks.

As you can guess if Saturday and Monday tend to be the busiest, Tuesday tends to be the best day to visit Universal Studios Orlando. We also find Thursday to be one of the least busy days of the week at Universal Studios, with Sunday being a great weekend option.

For that reason, we recommend devoting a minimum of a full day to each Universal Orlando theme park, especially if this is your first visit. Three days is ideal, particularly with a park-to-park pass, as it will allow you to fully explore each park and revisit your favorite attractions.

At the beginning or end of the day… wait times will always be the shortest. It doesn't matter if it is a slow day or a busy one – if you are at the parks first thing in the morning, or if you are the last one leaving at the end of the night, you will experience the shortest waits.
