Is Upper or Lower Table Rock easier to hike?

Upper Table Rock, which is upstream, sits a few miles east of Lower Table Rock, with Table Rock Road running between them. Upper Table Rock is the more forgiving of the two hikes, being a shorter route with less elevation, but it doesn't skimp on the rewards.

The easiest route to navigate on Table Mountain is Platteklip Gorge. The downside is that this route is the least interesting, scenic and rewarding of the lot. The hike up Lion's Head is much easier physically than Table Mountain. Not only is it a shorter hike but it zig zag's around the mountain whereas Table Mountain is a straight shot up. Lion's Head is also a more fun hike in my opinion as there are some very minor rock climbing (chains and ladders) aspect to it!
