Should I go to Kilkenny or Galway?

Galway is a great place, but if you've not been to Kilkenny, you should go! Kilkenny city itself is a mediaeval city, a very manageable size, attractive, & friendly. Kilkenny has just been named Food county of the year by the Bridgestone guide, so there are lots of tasty eats as well!

This coastal town is a charming mixture of historical landmarks and a modern atmosphere. Wandering down cobblestone streets with background music coming from every corner, it's easy to lose your heart to Galway. While many people only spend a day here, I do recommend a full two days in Galway.
