Whether you should bring your own beach towels to Disney World depends largely on your accommodation. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you do not need to bring them; Disney provides complimentary towels at all resort pools and even at the two water parks (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach) for resort guests. This saves significant space in your luggage. However, if you are staying at a non-Disney "off-property" hotel, the water parks typically charge a rental fee for towels, so bringing a lightweight, quick-dry microfiber towel could save you money. For the theme parks themselves, some guests bring small "cooling towels" to wear around their necks to combat the Florida humidity, but full-sized beach towels are unnecessary unless you plan on stakeout-style seating for a parade on a hot sidewalk. Generally, for most guests, the towels provided by the resorts are perfectly sufficient and much more convenient than carrying bulky wet laundry.
