Should you go to Maui or Kauai first?

Two schools of thought.....the more prevailing theory is to go to Maui first, for the action, then rest up and chill out on Kauai. Others would say go to Kauai first, get your feet wet and acclimate. Then go on to Maui when you feel the need for the more typical action. I don't think it matters too much.
