Was there ever a Six Flags in Louisiana?

Before Hurricane Katrina hammered the Gulf Coast in 2005, killing almost 1,400 people and destroying millions of dollars worth of property, there was a Six Flags just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. After the storm, the park was flooded.
