You can see Victoria Falls, the world's largest sheet of falling water, from both Zambia and Zimbabwe. The waterfall straddles the border between the two nations on the Zambezi River. About 75% of the falls' frontage is located on the Zimbabwean side, which is widely considered to offer the most "classic" and comprehensive panoramic views, accessible via Victoria Falls National Park. The remaining 25% is on the Zambian side, viewed from Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. While Zimbabwe offers more consistent views year-round, the Zambian side allows for more "adventurous" experiences, such as swimming in the famous "Devil's Pool" right on the edge of the abyss during the dry season. Many travelers choose to visit both sides using the KAZA Univisa, which allows for easy border crossings between the two countries, as the views from the Knife-Edge Bridge in Zambia and the Main Falls in Zimbabwe offer entirely different perspectives of this "Smoke that Thunders."
