What adapter do I need for Lake Garda?

If you are traveling to Lake Garda, you will need a valid passport with which you can identify yourself. The voltage found in Ireland and Italy is exactly the same (230V and 50Hz). You will not need a transformer/converter but you should bring a travel adaptor as there are three associated plug types, types C, F and L.

People Also Ask

You may see adapters with three prongs in a row. That's because some, but not all, Italian outlets have three holes. Don't buy these. Instead, buy a 2-prong adapter, which should fit into most outlets with two and three holes.
