What age does Airbnb consider a child?

Airbnb considers children to be between 2 and 12 years old. For them, the base capacity is the same as the maximum number of guests in the listing, however as reservations are made per adult, the limit is variable per reservation. Example: Your listing accepts a maximum of 5 guests.
