What are entry requirements for Barbados?

As of June 1, unvaccinated travellers will require a NEGATIVE pre-flight test within three (3) days prior to arrival here on the island. The test may be Standard PCR, Rapid PCR or Rapid Antigen Test. All unvaccinated travellers will be required to take a rapid antigen test on arrival at the airport.

For 2026, Barbados has streamlined its entry requirements to encourage tourism. Most travelers, including those from the US, UK, Canada, and the EU, do not require a visa for stays under 90 days. The primary requirement is a passport valid for the duration of your stay. However, all travelers must complete the Online Immigration and Customs Form (ED Form) at travelform.gov.bb at least 72 hours before arrival. This digital form has replaced the old paper cards and generates a QR code that you must show at the border. While COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, health officials still reserve the right to perform random screenings. You must also be able to provide proof of a return or onward ticket and a local address (hotel or villa) where you will be staying. If you are traveling for business or plan to stay longer, you should look into the "Barbados Welcome Stamp" visa, which allows remote workers to live on the island for up to a year. Always ensure your passport has at least one blank page for the entry stamp.
