What are the changes to Disneyland 2024?

One of the changes occurring on January 9, 2024, that I think you will also be excited about, Joseph, is that Annual Passholders (and Guests with Park Hopper tickets) will be able to hop to another theme park anytime throughout the day! No more waiting until 2:00 p.m. Woohoo!

2024 was a landmark year for Disneyland Resort, highlighted by the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which replaced the former Splash Mountain with an immersive Princess and the Frog theme. The year also saw the completion of the Pixar Place Hotel, the first fully Pixar-themed hotel in the U.S., and the debut of the "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln" update which paved the way for the 2025 "Walt Disney — A Magical Life" show featuring the first Walt Disney animatronic. In 2026, visitors are now seeing the long-term results of the DisneylandForward approval, which began paving the way for massive land expansions. Additionally, the Disney Genie+ system was rebranded to Lightning Lane Multi Pass in late 2024, a change that streamlined how guests pre-book attractions. Downtown Disney also underwent a major culinary overhaul, adding high-end eateries like Din Tai Fung and Paseo, significantly elevating the resort's dining profile outside the main gates.
