What are the different Disneyland California parks?

Disneyland Resorts is made up of two theme parks in Anaheim, California, USA. The two parks are Disneyland Park, which opened in 1955, and Disney California Adventure, which opened in 2001.

The Disneyland Resort in California consists of two distinct primary theme parks: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Disneyland Park is the historic original opened by Walt Disney in 1955, featuring iconic lands such as Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and the immersive Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. In 2026, it remains the heart of the resort's 70th Anniversary celebrations. Disney California Adventure Park, located just across the esplanade, focuses on the stories of Pixar, Marvel, and California culture; it is home to the high-octane Avengers Campus and the beloved Cars Land. Beyond the gated parks, the resort includes the Downtown Disney District, a sprawling outdoor promenade that requires no ticket and offers a wide array of specialized dining, retail, and live entertainment. These areas are supported by three official onsite hotels—Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the Disneyland Hotel, and the Pixar Place Hotel—each providing unique themes and direct proximity to the parks.
