Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is designed around a 45-acre lake called Barefoot Bay and is divided into five distinct "island" villages: Barbados, Jamaica, Martinique, Trinidad, and Aruba. Each village features its own pool and unique color palette reflecting its namesake Caribbean culture. Historically, there was a sixth island named Custom House, which served as the resort's check-in area, but it was closed during the major 2018 renovation that introduced the Disney Skyliner. Today, Old Port Royale serves as the central hub for the entire resort, housing the main lobby, dining, and shopping facilities. Each island offers white sand beaches along the water's edge, creating a lush, tropical atmosphere that makes this "Moderate" category resort a fan favorite.
