What are the requirements to get into Disneyland?

Applicable ticket and valid identification confirmation are required for entry, re-entry or if applicable, crossover into any theme park on each day of the ticket's validity. Tickets used to redeem or access benefits or entitlements must be the same ticket used for theme park entry.

To enter Disneyland Resort in 2026, every guest aged 3 and older must have two essential items: a valid theme park admission ticket (or Magic Key pass) and a confirmed theme park reservation for the same park on the same date. Because the reservation system is used to manage daily capacity, having a ticket alone does not guarantee entry. Reservations are made via the Disneyland app or website on a rolling basis, often up to 120 days in advance. Additionally, guests are expected to adhere to the resort's Code of Conduct, which emphasizes treating others with respect and kindness. Security screenings are mandatory for all visitors, involving bag checks and metal detectors. It is also a grounded peer recommendation to download the Disneyland App before arrival, as it is required for mobile food ordering, checking wait times, and managing digital tickets. While health-related mandates have largely subsided by 2026, Disney still reserves the right to implement safety measures or capacity limits as operational needs change, making "checking the calendar" the most important pre-trip step.

I am happy to share with you that you do not need a clear bag to enter the parks at Disneyland Resort. You can bring in any bag as long as it is not larger than 24 long x 15 wide x 18 high. I usually just bring in a small crossbody bag that I can comfortably wear with just the essentials.
