What are the two halves of EPCOT?

It's divided into two halves: Future World, with rides and corporate-sponsored interactive exhibits, and World Showcase, providing an interesting toe-dip into the cultures of 11 countries.

Historically, EPCOT was divided into two main sections: Future World and World Showcase. However, as part of a multi-year transformation completed by 2026, the park is now officially divided into four distinct "neighborhoods." The former Future World has been split into World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature, while the classic World Showcase remains as the fourth. World Celebration serves as the park's hub, featuring Spaceship Earth and the new CommuniCore Hall. World Discovery focuses on science and technology, housing high-thrill rides like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Test Track. World Nature emphasizes the beauty of the natural world with attractions like Soarin' Around the World and the Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. The World Showcase continues to be the "global" half of the park, featuring 11 themed pavilions representing nations from around the world, such as Mexico, France, and Japan. This new layout is designed to create a more cohesive and modern storytelling experience for guests, blending the park’s original optimistic vision of the future with more contemporary Disney characters and themes.
