Zootopia Coming to Animal Kingdom, Plans to Replace Dinoland with Indiana Jones & Encanto.

Disney is officially replacing DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom with a brand-new land themed to the Tropical Americas, featuring a vibrant setting called Pueblo Esperanza. This massive reimagining, which began significant vertical construction in late 2025 and 2026, draws inspiration from Central and South American cultures, wildlife, and storytelling. The land will feature two major flagship attractions: an Indiana Jones adventure that will repurpose the ride system of the former DINOSAUR attraction, and a highly anticipated Encanto-themed ride set within the Madrigal family's "Casita." In addition to these headliners, the area will include a central plaza with a fountain, a carousel populated by hand-carved animals from various Disney films, and a new quick-service dining location. The overall aesthetic marks a departure from the roadside carnival vibe of Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama, opting instead for lush greenery and immersive architecture that reflects the biodiversity and cultural heritage of Latin America.
