You might be wondering: can you bring food into Disney's Typhoon Lagoon? If you like to be extra-prepared, you can pack your own drinks and snacks. Small coolers are allowed, with no loose ice, dry ice, glass bottles or alcohol.

If the water shoe covers yourr entire foot , they will let you ride with them on. If it is a flip flop style, you will be asked to remove them. We just got back and the floor does get hot, plus the concrete has little bumps and imperfections (not smooth) so it hurts your feet. Water shoes are the way to go.

Typhoon Lagoon and the weather The water at Typhoon Lagoon is heated, making the park a good choice to visit during most days of the year; however, during inclement weather or if an extended bout of cold temperatures are predicted, Disney will close the water parks.

As soon as the park opens, make your way to a seating area near to lots of trees - if you are there early you should have no trouble finding somewhere suitable. There is also a nice quiet and shaded area close to the entrance of 'Crush n Gusher'.
