What can you do with your bags on Disneyland rides?

With the exception of a couple attractions, every ride at Disney will have a small pouch for you to stow your backpack, or space at your feet. Your trusty bag can take on all the adventures Disney has to offer with you! Just remember all bags will be screened and/or searched as you enter the secure Disney perimeter.

Unlike many theme parks that require you to put bags in lockers before boarding, Disneyland is remarkably "bag-friendly." For the vast majority of attractions, you are permitted to bring your bag onto the ride vehicle with you. Usually, you will simply place the bag at your feet or in a small mesh pocket located on the back of the seat in front of you. On high-intensity rides like Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain, you are expected to wrap a strap around your leg or hold it firmly between your feet. The only major exception at the California resort is Grizzly River Run, which provides complimentary lockers for a short duration because of the high risk of your belongings getting soaked. For very large items that exceed 24" x 15" x 18", you will not be allowed to enter the park at all, and for mid-sized items you don't want to carry, you can rent all-day lockers located near the park entrances.
