What can you not wear to Universal?

Visitors must be fully clothed, including shoes and shirts. Except as required by Universal or for religious or medical reasons, visitors may not wear any covering that fully or partially obscures a person's face.

Guests whose waistlines are 40” or greater may not be accommodated on the ride and are strongly encouraged to try the test seat provided at the entrance of the attraction to assist guests in determining their ability to ride. With that being said, that is just a guideline! Plenty of guests will learn there is no Universal Studios weight limit, and as long as your comfortable and the ride is secured safely, you're all set! Loose articles like cell phones, cameras, umbrellas and keys are prohibited at most attractions, and should be left with a non-rider or secured in a locker.

However, there is sensible logic behind banning smartphones on fast moving and high flying rides. Usually, any kind of loose items, like change in one's pocket, or jewelry that can fly off, or even hats are allowed on rides because they may whip off of someone's body in an instant.

You can, but I don't recommend it. Especially if you plan to visit a lot of the attractions there. Note: I am talking about Universal Studios Hollywood because that is the only one I have been to. It is probably the same for the one in Orlando, though.

Thankfully one of the free things Universal Orlando offers is ample free water. No matter if you have a water bottle or need a cup of ice water, water is readily available.
